With the start of the new academic year we have resumed educational activities for the public school.
This time we moved to the Institute "San Alberto Magno" to explain to the students of 3 ยบ ESO what it was and how to organize the institution of the house in the traditional society of this mountain. So we talk about the type of inheritance that prevailed at that time, the undivided inheritance in which all assets ended up in one person, the heir or hereu, and try to understand the inner logic of this system, its raison d'etre.
commenting on them the figure of the "master", the Crown and its obligations, the "ment" of how all members of the house accepted his role in it and I assumed so, as they say, of "to home."
also discussed, among other things, how marriages were agreed, the fact that every house had a name, the reason for that name, which could be given by various reasons: job, place of origin, nickname , etc., and how the name of the house was the hallmark of people who lived there.
A further aspect of traditional society that seems important to show because it is part of our next story that has been in force until a few decades ago.
