A new temporary exhibition opens its doors in our museum is a sample of uniforms, documents and images intended to explore the history of the Carabineros and the Guardia Civil in Sabiñánigo. Thanks to Gonzalo Usieto library, an expert on the subject, we can enjoy wearing uniforms from the late nineteenth century until the second half of the twentieth century dress uniforms of the era of Alfonso XII, through the Republic or those of the Franco era.
The exhibition is completed with documents, hats at different times ("bakers" of the police or different characteristic of tricorn Civil Guard), rifle MAUSER, a machine gun or submachine gun called "Naranjito" (both English production) and a series of images related to the presence of these bodies in our city.
An interesting example that speaks of a piece of our history.
The exhibition will be open from 1 to May 31 from 10am to 13 and from 15.30 to 18.30 hours in the audiovisual room of the museum.
